Those colours work. Aside from the yellow sky it isn't immediately obvious that the colours are unreal, the reds give the feel of sunset. I'd say that works pretty well as a middle path between abstract and figurative.

I hopeto have the same success....lol. re john inksons comment...on the ipad you just use two fingers to stretch it to huge !

You know me and abstracts don't mix Syd but there are some lovely colours in this painting.
