Glad the herons not been about Syd - Colourful painting well done mate.

Like your environmentally friendly water butt Syd. Nice slopey painting too!

Michael The close mesh has been artisticly removed for the painting. Linda my garden does slope but i for reason unknownhave sloped the building etc. its slopey as you say. thank you both for your comments you are lovely folk.

I thought my eyes had gone funny Syd but no, it's your garden on a slope! A lovely painting which reminds me of summer with those lovely colours in the garden. Great.

Some excuse Syd!!! It's a good piece.

Thanks for your comments Kirstie and Margaret. My pond is 8x6 feet and I have.24 hungry fish for whom I buy a bucket of food sticks very often but I love them! Margaret my greenhouse does have a slope as the base wasnt levelled but thebackground house roof needs to be levelled to make it right. It looks daft but i didnt notice when I was concentratig on getting a straight line to the roof . Ill fix it now. Thanks again girls.

Thank you Derek old mate.

That's an excellent crop of tomatoes by the look of it Syd! Lots of colour, where your fish aware you were painting their portrait....they look perfectly posed.

Hello Fiona. Yes lots of tomatoes. Grown in the raised bed of same soil for over sixty years and fed on Tomorite as well as being spoken to. I have only to approach the pond and the fish all arrow towards me shouting " food guys" to each other. Havent seen any posts from you on. the Forum for a while why not give a look ln sometime please. many thanks for your comments.

Love it, Syd!!! I have recently acquired an allotment. Though it is not on a slope, it is 40 yards long, 6yds.wide, and choking with mare's tail, bindweed and couch grass!!!! I'll do a swap with you?????? Merry Christmas to you! xx

Oh Jennifer I am so sorry to hear about your mares tail , bindweed and couch grass. No wonder the previous tenant gave up.With the first, I have heard that a hand wetted with parrafin rubbed down the stems discourages the blighters. About the rest you just have to dig up EVERY bit of root.I wish you every success but a swop is off. Thanks for your comment Merry Christmas and a happy weedless New Year. .....Syd xx
