Homeless

Well portrayed Simon. Yes...there but for the grace of God.

Very moving indeed. The pathos which i see makes me feel emotional. The person at the centre of the group is especially well presented. They all appear to be asleep but their suffering shows even while they are unconscious. Homelessness is a misfortune which strikes a very harsh chord with me since i have known such people. Drug use is rife among the homeless and the question is am i helping this person to stand again and live or am i helping him or her into an early grave? This is always the problem when giving money. This is an excellent depiction of suffering and misfortune and i would compare it to the etchings and drawings of beggars by Rembrandt.
