Very bold use of colour; the cat is looking impressed by the tunic, so, it must be good!

This is a portrait of Caroline who sat for one of our art club portrait sessions. She was actually wearing the the beautiful tunic. Well my imagination went a bit wild!😂 I couldn't resist painting her in a Matisse, fauvist style, complete with imaginary background. She absolutely loved it and I thoroughly enjoyed painting it. Painted in acrylics.

In late 2017 I joined an acrylic art class as a beginner and I've been painting ever since. I particularly enjoy impressionism, expressionism and fauvism and a lot of my art work reflects this. I also enjoying painting portraits. I would like to thank all POL members who help and encourage me.
