This months art club challenge was to do your own interpretation of a photograph of lavender fields. Of course I just had to add a figure and a tree! I'd sketched Steven in that pose at the portrait group and here he is in situ. I would like to say that's he's taking in the beautiful view, but he appears uncomfortably perched under that tree dozing even snoring! 🙄😂 Painted in acrylics in a fauvist style, I really enjoyed doing this one.
