I like the images in your gallery. It is difficult to say a great deal that is constructive to advise you here in this particular piece......the only thing that strikes me immediately is the STOP sign, which to me strikes a jarring note, but perhaps that is what you intended? If it is to stay I would suggest it is given less prominence? I can see you might feel a bit stuck with this one, but it is promising I think, if you can resolve it. I do like the light on the uplifted face.

Thanks Ruth, I appreciate your comments. I am self-taught and really just beginning, so I want to glean as much as I can from others.

It's really hard to offer any suggestions without knowing what you are aiming for. I like the start you've made but without knowing your thoughts , any ideas would be futile.

Thanks Diana, I take that on board. I guess I was just interested in peoples thoughts on the composition so far and I have taken Ruth's comment about the stop sign and I am thinking about that one. The painting is very symbolic and will evolve as I go. I just wasnt too sure about where I have placed elements so far. Thanks for looking and taking the time to leave your thoughts.
