A very true depiction of Stur Mill. I know it well: transported me back. Can feel the shade of the car park in the dark of the background, hear the tumbling water to the right from the sluice gate and almost sense the swallows which will no doubt soon be swooping across the water. Lovely.

I love this view of the mill ... a great place to paint.

What a lovely description Fen, you are obviously very familiar with the mill. It is a decent car ride for me but on the way into north Dorset so pass it quite often.
