Poor you Susan - yes very effective as I am crossing my legs as I look at this and I am not even suffering myself from this condition.

My husband had kidney stones, My driving caused the stones to pass through! Lots of bumps and weavey bends to get there! A very painful problem indeed. Hope you are all recovered.

Carole, I feel for your husband ;o) I have decided to create more "infection & stone" based art to hopefully show support & understanding. This type of condition is not talked about so much, through embarrassment I'm sure. So, I'm doing lots of wee awareness lol! ;) Thank you for your kind comment Carole and I hope your husband is well.

I had to do it! Those of us who have experienced urine infections or Interstital Cystitis, or the agony from kidney stones - I am here for you! Mixed Media. Painted on a canvas board measuring 8"x8" it is a mix of water colour covered with an acrylic gel and then stenciled & written over with acrylic markers. I want to say "Enjoy" but can't really so here I am saying, I know where you are at! (My named watermark is not on the original of course).
