As part of my love for mixed media art, I have created here, "Life After Domestic Abuse". (Technique inspired by the French artist Muriel Moret). The technique I used is mostly hand applied acrylic paint on a canvas board with painted paper silhouettes of the three ladies dancing. The wording is on thick acrylic painted card which is then stuck the the canvas board. It has a 3D element so is not flat to the surface. I have not had glass added to the picture - I wanted it to be a gentle tactile experience. So please make sure "feelers" have a light touch and clean hands. Size = 21" x 17 1/2".
