Thanks Henry. I love painting skies and am a Seago fan but cannot get anywhere near his skies.

Thanks Stephen, it wasn't too peaceful in the wind at the time and I rather rushed the foreground as a result but glad you like the final effect.

Oil sketch of the coast and entry to Whitby hrbour from Sandsend. Painted plein air on a blustery day with a strong onshore wind piling up surf at the waters ege and making a painters life just a little more difficult.
