Allow the wash to dry and go over it with a thin Raw Umber wash. Then using the same colour wash over the fur collar, the hair and wash in the background. Even at this stage I could see where the initial outline drawing needed correcting and using a round brush I was able to make the amendments I felt necessary. These will almost certainly be altered as the picture develops but this is one of the joys of acrylic, making corrections by overpainting is so easy. To finish this section I put a wash of Raw Umber across the lace headwear to provide a grounding for future drybrushing.
