Cheers Fiona, Yes I've been mark making in general and putting any good feedback into my pics. I'm playing with fire, literally and using burnt paper, candle smoke, inks, wax, PVA and acrylics...anything I can lay my hands on really to see what happens. Thanks for looking

Well, whatever you are throwing at it Steve, it looks good! It gives the painting depth and texture, the lilies look as though they are standing proud from the canvas.
