Oil painting ‘Broken Blossoms’ featuring the actress Dolly Haas as Lucy Burrows based upon the 1936 British film ‘Broken Blossoms’. A Chinese missionary comes to England. He helps a young girl ill-treated by her father. A remake of D. W. Griffith’s 1919 Masterpiece an American silent film.
