Very many thanks everyone, for your encouraging comments. It is a copy, but in painting it I noticed how strongly he paints his shadows, they do add extra drama to the scene.

Thought I would have a go at another of Mr. Wesson’s classic watercolours. Ended up a bit earlier in the year than the original and added a figure. Last one at the art group till next year! On Winsor and Newton 140lb. cold pressed paper. A. Nice surface.
