I spent a lovely weekend at a watercolour painting course at Scargill House near Kettlewell. The tutor did not like us doing a pencil drawing prior to painting (as is my norm), so I drew in light watercolour, with a rigger. I did feel that this produced a looser feel (if a bit frightening)!

I am a self taught amateur painter, I mostly paint landscapes in watercolour but I 'dabble' in other mediums from time to time. I really enjoy my art, especially painting outdoors when the weather allows.
