A very enjoyable result too

Many thanks Heather. Must get back to sketching more.

Lucky you Stephen, grey and showers here. Is this the old convent, did they do anything with it? Like the way you have done the windows, always tricky for me.

Thanks Fiona, yes you have a good memory. It was originally owned by a rich cotton spinner, who owned several mills in Oldham. When he died it became a convent for many years. A few years ago a rich Egyptian doctor bought it for £900k. As a retreat for disabled Coptic children. They turn up occasionally and have a happy time. We were all relieved, as it could have been split into many flats, creating lots of noise with cars etc.

Good one Steve 👍

Many thanks Stephen.

Lovely painting Stephen.

Glad it all turn out for the good Stephen.

Many thanks, George and Fiona.

Thought I would try painting from life for a change. Even my garden looked ok this morning, birds singing, sun shining! Very enjoyable.
