Nice mark making Stephen. I am always disappointed with the photograph of my artworks, I can never seem to capture what's in the painting.

Many thanks Bryan, yes I know what you mean, there is as much skill in taking top quality photographs as in painting. Lighting, tones and colours, composition etc.

Take your photos outside, it’s the best way! Put them on the floor and stand over the painting.

An ink sketch from an old photo of mine. I it was going to be a line and wash but got a bit carried away with the pen drawing. Quite enjoyed it for a change!
