hi i think it is lovley may be simple but makes a big impact xx

Many thanks Paula, simple often works best for watercolours.

You've said all you need to say Stephen and have a marvellous result! The scene looks good in it's winter form. The very best of the season to you and a new year full of inspiration.

Many thanks Fiona, look forward to more pics from you too in the new year.

Lovely! Merry Christmas to you and all the very best for 2015

Lovely work, Stephen, the washes are clean and clear, and the atmosphere is super. A very merry Christmas and New Year to you!

Many thanks Lesley and Seok, look forward to seeing more of your work in the New Year.

Thank you, Stephen! This is beautiful with the snow capped hills and icy looking water. I like the addition of the single rock in the water as it give the view an immediate entre into the painting. I think you have done a great job of exploring this scene in all it's seasons. Have a great Christmas and New Year and hope that 2015 sees you raring to continue take on even more exciting artistic challenges.

thanks THea., have a great Christmas.

Thea suggested I should try a winter version of the imaginary lake scene I have posted recently. I did this very quickly with a hake and a small round brush. Hope all at POL enjoy a peaceful and joyful Christmas and New Year.
