Great stuff - I know this street well - my dad used to live in Whitby. Love the muted palette.

Many thanks Glennis and Dennis for your kind comments. The problem with painting at the art group is that I tend to rush things, as if I have to complete the painting in the two hour session, instead of thinking things out, I have since strengthened the tones of the two gable ends and the shadows, which has improved things a little.
