Good atmospheric colour Stephen.

Many thanks John, Louise and Carole for your kind comments.

Very nice, Stephen. This must be the Lake District Derwentwater, one of my favourite beauty spots in Britain Are the trees hanging over the roof slightly? At first I thought the perspective of the receding roof was a touch out of kilter, then realised there was probably an overhang obscuring part of the ridge. Love the reflections and subtle colours. Love the simplicity of this and the very honest use of colour Stephen.

As already mentioned lovely natural colours and tones, very nice Stephen.

That is certainly Derwent Water from the Lakeside path. I struggle with skies but yours is very good.

Many thanks, Brian, Carole, Fiona and Richard for your much appreciated comments.

Love it Stephen, nice colour range and composition

Beautifully done, Stephen. A lovely depiction of an idyllic scene.

I am a self taught amateur painter, I mostly paint landscapes in watercolour but I 'dabble' in other mediums from time to time. I really enjoy my art, especially painting outdoors when the weather allows.
