Many thanks, Pat Carol and Skylar, your comments are much appreciated. In the photo the water was ruffled so there was no reflection. When I painted the scene as it was it didn't look right. Just shows we have to interpret our photos.

Painted at the art group earlier, from an old photo of mine. Can't remember if it is on Derwentwater or Windermere. Used a little block of the new Winsor and Newton paper, very nice if a bit expensive.
