I like this Stephen and interested in how the painting developed. I also like your use of subtle colours as it adds to the light atmosphere of the painting.

Hang on Studio Wall

Playing around in my sketchbook, started with the trees and foreground. Then imagining a body of water, with distant hills and shoreline. Thought it looked vaguely like an estuary, hence the title!
