Many thanks Sarah, actually there are several experienced, talented artists in the group but I do think my 'on the spot' sketches are often my best work.

Spent a pleasant hour or so walking around Daisy Nook country park, taking photos in the Autumn sunshine. I managed a couple of quick sketches, this one with a pen and a few Inktense pencils. Might have 'hooked' a new new member for the art group, as a passing dog walking made the mistake of saying she would like to take up drawing and painting again lol.

I am a self taught amateur painter, I mostly paint landscapes in watercolour but I 'dabble' in other mediums from time to time. I really enjoy my art, especially painting outdoors when the weather allows.
