Many thanks Kal and CA for your kind remarks. I very nearly did not post this as I thought it was, as I said 'rough and ready'. As so often though with art the simplest statements are often more appreciated, I suppose when we imagine things we keep things simple, don't the Ad men say KISS?Keep it sweet and simple?

This is really good - lovely feel to it, rather like a painting by a Victorian or Edwardian artist. Lots of atmosphere - think you have done extremely well with this one, Stephen.

It reminds me of an old master Stephen, the tones and simplicity of it is most appealing. I love the frontage of the cottages especially.
