Many thanks Heather and Paul. I find the Inktense pencils are good for little sketches. Much cleaner/ transparent than the traditional watercolour pencils.

Thanks Michael, I think you would like them, they are a bit stronger than watercolour, a bit like Gouache. You can buy them in sets of pencils and also in blocks for larger works.
