Excellent linework, Linda. In answer to your question posed a while back on how to grind a Chinese inkstone, I've now created a public Facebook page with videos of my Chinese art teacher demonstrating the grinding process and a photo showing the ink tones during the grinding process. It turns out there is no magic technique, just sheer hard work - it took 20-30 minutes to grind the ink to the required consistency and darkness.
