So beautifully and skilfully done Linda. Yes, kittens are rather “ heart melting”.

Many thanks everyone for your kind comments. Here’s hoping my friend will like her birthday present.

Such an endearing image Linda. That look would melt anyone’s heart.

Good work, Linda. A delightful bundle of furry-ness.

Superb, and what a sweet little kitty!

Lovely work Linda.

Saw this on the Forum - it's wonderful Linda.

Nicely done, and I do think the blue shading helps.

It’s all been said Linda, its a little cracker.

Really beautiful Lynda, amazing detail, well done!

Beautiful kitten, Linda.

Thank you all so much for your wonderful comments. It wa fun to do even though I went wrong a few times. It is now in the frame ready for presentation to my school friend that I have known for over 60 years ( with a couple of gaps).

She’s gorgeous Linda, beautifully painted.

Thank you Fiona and Coral.

I know you had a worry or two about the shadows - but really, you could just have left those few bits in the front, this would still have worked. I'm not fantastically fond of cats, but this one is changing my mind. (I was bitten by a cat - twice! I've never been bitten by a dog .... on the other hand, previous flat mates had a cat named Winnie, or Winge, who used to climb into my bed and made a very good hot water bottle.)

Thanks Robert: I have been bitten by a dog fortunately only a small Yorkshire terrier. So I am always a bit wary of them.

A wonderful work!

Through Timea.

Many thanks Christine Julie and Frank.
