This is a mixed media piece recreating the view from the plane to Melbourne in 2013. I was amazed by the repetition of harvested circles in the landscape where machines are set to work automatically throughout the day and night. The "phallic" shaped plots at the bottom of the picture were exactly like that, reminding me of the apocryphal stories of crop circles. Obviously one farmer was having a laugh! The piece has been framed with a raised glass cover which stands about 1cm proud of the surface, thus accommodating the raised and textured elements of the collage.
