Beautiful, harmonious palette

This is great work - love the colours.

Lovely sensitive painting with an almost Chinese feel. I particularly like the tall stems which balance St Michael's Mount.

This is one of a series I have started using a very limited palette of only 4 colours, yellow ochre, prussian blue, burnt sienna and manganese blue. I wanted to challenge myself to paint with minimal brushstrokes and little detail whilst hopefully capturing atmosphere, mood and drama. This was a misty, overcast day.
