This was on white paper, I will have to sort my camera out.

A very beautiful and touching image, Sue. Don't worry about the paper colour, when I photograph my work it had a blue tint to it. I think it has to do with the lighting in the home.

Fabulous drawing Sue - great memories for ever captured here.

First proper attempt? You’ve captured that emotion beautifully. Just enough shading to illustrate that fragility of the baby and child. Lovely

Thank you. I went overboard on the darker part and didn’t know how to correct it. I’m not very happy with the baby’s body either, it doesn’t look right.

Very sweet and a lovely drawing Sharon. I have the same problem with colour of white paper if photographing indoors so yes it must be the lighting. However I think tinted paper gives a nice softer effect so actually it works quite well.

This is beautiful Sue and you have captured a very tender moment.

So much emotion shines through this lovely piece, Sue

I enjoyed art at school 40 years ago but my school wasn’t the type to encourage it. So haven’t really done any since. I’m just trying my hand again.
