Skylar, please answer, for what purpose do you place your paintings here? Are you insecure in yourself and need recognition of your talent? Or you simply enjoy receiving laudatory comments from Amateurs?

Vasily - Your questioning my presence here is perplexing. I post for the joy of sharing. I am retired, and paint mostly just for the pleasure it gives me. Your inquiry has an unwritten accusation - of which I am not certain. I am not the least bit insecure, but I do love receiving comments. I made most of my living as a working artist. I still occasionally sell works thru local galleries. This community of artist is dear to me, and I have posted here since 2009. I have Never had anyone question my motives before. Do you think I should not have a presence here; or is there an agenda of your own which prompt your comments?
