Super colours Shaun.

Love the way the figure melts into the landscape and the way you have used the orange colour as highlights, which brings life to the whole painting.

Really use of colour (as always) Shaun, like the addition of the figure too

This is absolutely stunning, Shaun, s/he certainly is part of the landscape. Beautifully done!

Yes it makes sense Shaun and you have achieved it in this beautiful painting.

Many Thanks - Linda, Carole, Heather, Thalia and Diane - your kind comments are really appreciated.

Just spotted this Shaun, what a beauty with that exquisite range of complementary colours!

Thank you Alan - I am pleased that you like this painting and your appreciation of the colours I used.

Your figure does merge and appear in the the stunning surrounding Shaun. Warmth and colour is outstanding.

Pastel on sanded board 16x12ins * Really good response to my recent archive painting but I wanted to return to posting my current approach to painting. When I include figures in my paintings I like them to be part of the landscape if that makes sense?
