Lovely studies Seok! I like how the crabs brandish their claws as if they are brandishing a beautiful cape in front of themselves! The colours are vibrant and clear and the crabs look 3 D. Thank you for your comments on my work! Very much appreciated.

Stunning as usual, Seok. What a beautiful study of some special subject. Lovely!

These are very colourful little crabs, I don't think I've ever seen them. Lovely little study - agree with Sarah that they look 3D.

What colourful little crabs Seok and a delightful little study of them.

Such a cute study of these beautiful little creatures Seok! You always find so interesting and different subjects to show us and so skillfully executed. Aren't we lucky to have members from many countries and cultures and thanks to the modern technology we meet here on the same page.

Hi seok .i can only echo what has already been said by the other artists .. A very beautiful study of some beautiful little crabs. Your work is always so interesting ang unique . Well done.

I love these two colourful little fellows. Beautifully depicted and great to learn about them - thanks Seok.

Beautiful little studies. Love the colours and the beady eyes. A lovely painting of these interesting little creatures.

I almost missed this little gem Seok due to the problems we iPad users are experiencing with the website. I agree with all the above comments, a really lovely painting.

They are really lovely little creatures Seok, so pleased you showed them to us in this great study.

Thanks so very much, everyone!

Wonderful colours, a real eye catching one Seok!!

A small study of two tiny fiddler crabs (they're about 1 cm in size each) which I encountered on the sandbanks of Pulau Ubin, a small island off the coast of Singapore. The tide was low and the sandbank was covered with dozens of these tiny mangrove denizens. The one on the left is the blue fiddler crab and the one on the right is a very rarely sighted rosy fiddler crab. Both are males, identifiable by their single gigantic brightly colored claw which they brandish to attract females.
