Ah, a family heirloom which you'll never be able to part with and what a lovely painting!

Oh, this brought back memories Seok! As children myself, my brother and sister had a metal 'Mobo' horse which had peddles you pushed down on and it transported you, very slowly, around. It was very similar to your horse but without the rockers. It was much loved and much used until, unfortunately, it gave up altogether and is now in the great stable in the sky! A lovely painting.

Just beautiful. We had one just the same when I was a kid!

Wow! Thanks so very much everyone! It looks like this little horse and his companions played a part in many of our childhood memories! Christine, thanks for the identification of the horse - my Dad and I were trying to remember the country of origin of the horse, and we thought it could be England. It's still in pristine shape and I made up the rust patch on his shoulder. So it's obvious - buy British, everyone!
