Lovely, loose and vibrant.

Superb, Seok. I love the loose style that, for me, verges on the impressionist . Well done!

Just lovely, great colours.

How I envy you being able to paint in your own inimitable style and then change to something so loose and free and produce another little gem. Lovely work Seok.

I have missed your postings Seok! but this makes up for it! What a splendid painting!

This is beautiful Seok and it's lovely to see you back on POL!

It really has worked well - I love the soft, watery colours. I can see why you're pleased with your day!

Wow Seok - really wouldn't have recognized this as one of yours! I love using lines of poetry to inspire me too, so well done on both counts!

Beautiful watercolour Seok and lovely to see you posting again

Loverly loose floral Seok.

Lovely, great to be able to cross styles like that - sounds like an excellent day with a talented tutor ... but I wonder whether he could adopt your usual style as well as you have been able to adopt his. Great portfolio and this addition just makes it stronger.

This is gorgeous, great style Seok. Good to see you back on here.

I've seen his flowers and they really are beautifully painted. I think you have done an amazingly good job on your flowers - love the way some parts are defined and others fade away into a haze of soft colours. Obviously a good course to go on!

Thanks so much, everyone!

This is lovely Seok, so different from your usual style, but love it.

Wow love this style, very loose.

A beautiful, loose and soft watercolour Seok! Well worth taking part in the workshop and so useful and exciting to try different styles.

Thank you very much, Glennis, Lorraine and Satu!

A beautiful painting - colourful, vibrant, well composed. I love this style

Thanks so very much, Dawn and Chris!

Seok, Just to say thank you for taking the time to comment on my paintings, you really are very kind.

Thanks very much Barry!

Had an awesome day today at a watercolour workshop conducted by Brazillian painter, Fabio Cembranelli. His style is so diametrically opposite from mine that I went to the workshop expecting to produce mud. I can't believe he managed to get me to leave my style behind for a day and do something different for a change. What a fab teacher! The title is taken from a line in the poem Ah Sunflower by one of my favourite poets, William Blake.
