I like seeing your elephants! Especially the mum with her calf, gorgeous. As is this. A wonderful watercolour, you are so talented. I struggle a lot with greens and you have shown how it should be done, excellent!

Lovely detail and negative painting. Great colours for your greens, I like the tree in the far background giving the whole painting depth. Beatiful.

you must be pretty sick of my Hibiscus's then :-p this is a lovely loose watercolour painting, really realistic colours used too :-) i like it :-)

I, too, admire your use of different greens - I know they are just another colour, but somehow mine all seem to end up with a base of olive green with something added. Love the bark on the tree in the right foreground!

Oh my goodness, Seok - this is just so tropical I can almost feel the heat and humidity! And so skilfully painted... Now are you sure there isn't an elephant behind one of those trees?

Beautiful, love the different greens, the hazy greens in the background-, everything about it - perfect.

Very good once again, to think you used to have problems with greens!

Beautiful Seok, the negative painting and your greens are outstanding.

Negative painting.....the very thought of it gives me palpitations but you seem to do it so effortlessly and so beautifully. Another wonderful painting of your travels Seok.

Nice one Seok, love the foreground.

Well - I was looking for a hidden elephant behind a tree somewhere but apparently not lol! Fantastic variety of trees and shrubs in this painting, all with their own shade of green - I couldn't begin to paint anything like this so take my hat off to you for pulling it off so well. Wonderful example of using green successfully and also of painting vegetation.

Really lovely Seok, the colours, the foreground and the depth you have achiieved.

Just wonderful.

Thank you so very much, everyone! Stephen, I still struggle with greens - this was an exercise in self-inflicted torture, not only did I paint off a scene with nothing but greens, but I did it on a piece of paper almost double the size of my usual watercolor block! I won't be doing this again in a hurry!

I agree with everyone, stunning watercolour Seok, beautifully painted

Anything that you post on here is alright by me :) It looks a beautiful place, love the ferns :)

A beautiful rendering from a lady who says she can't paint greens --- I'm not sure which one of my legs you should be pulling

You really have done this well.Carefully done yet full of life.

Thank you very much, everyone, for your very kind comments. Charles, getting such encouragement from the king of greens, I'm feeling very chuffed!

Thank you, Midori!

This one is gorgeous seok and I love your watercolours. Great gallery ! And thanks for the nice comments on my work.

Hakgala Botanical Gardens in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka. (Giving everyone an elephant break. Three elephant postings in a row is probably an overkill!)
