The building is beautifully painted, Seok, just the right amount of detail, I also love your foliage and rocks at the front, I love looking at your work

This is beautiful Seok, very nice composition and delicate colours. The building is very well painted

You have a lovely clean style Seok. Have you been painting long?

There is a lot of detail in this, and architecturally it's quite complicated with so many different planes, you have done a super job. The figures add movement, and are beautifully described.

Love the figures...and very fresh....good job.

Beautiful building I could tell it had some age behind it, very quaint and painted so well.

This is so well composed, especially with the boulders in front, well done.

Lovely .. Really wonderful detail on the building. Well Done

This is just beautiful, Seok. It is fresh, detailed but uncluttered with a superb palette used. One of your very best I think.

A lovely painting of a very fine building. I love the way you have done the detail in the windows and railings on the balcony. Lots of patience needed!

Thank you very much, everyone, for your very kind comments! Amanda, I have been painting in watercolor for about 4 years. Been at oils for a few yeas longer. Still a long way to go!

Love it, love it. I've been there. This brings back wonderful memories, not least being deafened by planes landing while I was collecting sand dollars on the beach.

A well balanced painting,a good palette,i like the way you have faded out the background and created detail in the foreground

Thank you very much, Diana and Teresa! Diana, you sound like you had a great time! Yes, I do like this place lots, and am lucky to be able to visit it fairly frequently. My brother lives near there, so I occasionally return there for a day out when I visit him.

Fabulous...you stay at the best hotels! Love the colours!

Thanks, Stephen! But I never stay there, because I just descend on my brother who lives nearby! Just visited it for the day. It's a great place for a day trip.

The Victorian facade of the Hotel del Coronado, in Coronado, California, across the bridge from downtown San Diego. It was built in 1888 and is considered one of America's most beautiful beach resorts. It was designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1977.
