I wondered when we would be having some more of your travelogue paintings. Good to have you back. Love the colours you have in this and the balcony too, am also impressed with painting en plein air, nice one Seok.

Gorgeous warm colour Seok and such a striking image. I'm also very impressed that you painted it outdoors. Just for a minute there, I wondered where Benetton was! It's a good title :)

A beautiful window beautifully painted. I can feel the warmth! Good to see you back and look forward to seeing more from your recent trip, Seok.

Lovely use of complimentary colours, and your washes blend beautifully. Well done for painting this en plein air, do you remember how long it took you do complete? Thank-you for all your lovely comments on my work :)

Seok, this has all the feel of a light - hearted holiday record. Absolutely delightful!

A really beautiful well balanced painting Seok! Lovely warm colours, calm feeling. Well done!

A superb addition to your "Carnet de Voyages". A small detail but full of warmth and colour. No doubt you have plenty more for us of Cuba......whenever I see a documentary I realise I'd go nutty there as there is soooooo much to paint.....old buildings, doors and fantastic cars.... am I right?

Super! How can you make this colour? It's so beautiful. I like this composition as well, Seok.

Love the tones in the stonework of the building - just beautiful. Super little vignette and lovely memory of your visit to Cuba.

Beautiful Seok, your travel journals are a gem and a wonderful way of recording all the fasicinating places you have seen.

Wecolme back Seok. What a stunning watercolour to whet our appetite, we all love sharing the memories of your adventures, in watercolour. Thank you for all your comments on my latest pictures.

This is lovely Seok - the colours are gorgeous and subtle. I think all your gallery is lovely - I'm honoured that you have commented on some of mine! Thanks.

Wow, thank you so very much, everyone! Lesley, it took me about 2 hours 30 minutes. The 30 minutes was trying to fit in the entire building and the one next to it onto my paper before conceding defeat. Greed and unrealistic ambition are my downfall everytime! Avril, believe it or not, I thought of you and Alain everytime I passed yet another rust encrusted gate with peeling paint in Cuba, which was every 15 minutes! You are spot on - you would go completely mad there. There's a rusty something or other and peeling paint everywhere! You need to go there! Midori, I used a variation of burnt sienna, cobalt blue, prussian blue and aureolin from the Holbein range, lasur orange from the Schmincke range and dioxaline mauve from Old Holland. I played around with different combinations of these colors throughout the building to create the gradations, and I used Two Rivers paper.

Welcome back Seok, what a lovely memotry of your trip, it's so nice to paint on the spot isn't it?

Lovely hints of colour in this interesting little painting Seok.

Just returned from a Easter break and seen this superb rendition . Brilliant.

Glad to see you back, Seok! This is again a super addition to your travelling journal! Beautiful!

Thank you so very much everyone! Stephen, I am still trying to enjoy outdoor painting but the burning heat outdoors didn't help! I think I like the immediacy of the result though, and I fuss less with limited time, so perhaps once I get used to it, I might enjoy it a little bit more.

A delightful painting with super tones in the stonework and a lovely reminder of your travels in Cuba. Thank you so much for taking the time and trouble to comment on the paintings I posted whilst you were away, I really appreciate it.

Another super watercolour painting Seok Yam of your travels, love the tones used in this piece and have to agree that everything else about it has already been posted, I really like this one a lot.

Beautiful. Especially the balcony and the shutters :)

Lovely architecture and colours. Your technique is exellent.

This is really lovely again Seok , another super edition to your portfolio.

Thank you so very much everyone for your very kind comments, which I greatly appreciate!
