They are beautiful Seok!! The butterfly really adds to it!!!

This is beautiful and so delicate, I like the palette colours and composition and the butterfly is great.

This is an exquisite piecw, Seok Yam. Roses blooming at various stages makes a splendid composition....and beautiful butterfly as well.. very well done..

Super painting, Seok. Love the position of the butteryfly and the faded blooms which make it look so real.

Very lovely painting.

lovely!! une aquarelle florale...est ce pour le printemps ?

Lovely painting. I like the fading roses and the butterfly is beautiful.

Another quality piece of work Seok. Very well done!!!

This ought to be an illustration in a book.

Just exquisite. What more can I say.

You seem to be able to paint anything equally well Seok, a rare talent that makes viewing your work something I look foreward to with pleasure.

Thank you very much, everyone! This is my first attempt at painting roses in watercolor and there's a lot of room for improvement, so I appreciate your very kind comments. Alain, it did not occur to me that this would be a harbinger for spring, but yes, I hope it brings cheer to all of you who are still feeling the nippy weather!

As Thea says, exquisite, which describes these beautiful roses perfectly.

Thanks so very much, Val!

Beautiful, I have a feeling this would look very good on silk.

Thank you very much, Kat!

Your flowers are beautiful and the butterfly is the 'icing on the cake'

San Marino, California, USA. The butterfly which I added is the Gulf Fritillary, which has been sighted in the Huntington Library Gardens.
