I love your desert shades, so effective for giving bright light.

Beautiful watercolour. Fascinating story about the queen and her secret...

I agree with Carole and Petra, Seok. This is so atmospherical and certainly a painting with a story!!! Beautiful!!

I haven't looked in for a while but i'm glad I didn't leave it much later or I would have missed this little gem,It is a lovely understated painting, you really are talented Seok.

Thank you, William, you are very kind. I miss seeing your work. Please don't stay away for too long.

A very thoughtful departure from the more obvious tourist view of Hatshepsut's awe-inspiring temple.

Thank you very much, Kat!

Man sitting on the ramparts of the Queen Hatshepsut's temple, near Aswan, Egypt. Hatshepsut was one of ancient Egypt's most famous and powerful queens who ruled, not as a queen but as a Pharoah. The temple was built by the architect, Senenmut, and historians have speculated that he was Hatshepsut's lover. Graffiti carved by the original temple workmen near this site provided fodder for such gossip. The truth remains the Queen's secret.
