Nice sketch, Seok, perhaps you got yourself dehydrated being in the hot sun. I like to wear a broad brimmed hat and take a water bottle along when I am doing plein air work.

I'm with you on plein air work, Seok....I'm simply not made for it...the nearest I used to get was from my car window!! Well done sketch, you certainly conveyed the atmosphere.

Very interesting drawing Seok, sorry you had to pay a price. The heat gets to me too. Went a walk the other week in one our flash heatwaves, it really did me in :(. This is well worth your time in the sun ;)

A sketchbook scribble of a delicatessen and boutique in the ancient city of Hoi An, Vietnam. Done en plein air in my Moleskin sketchbook. I'm obviously not made for plein air work because I ended up rather ill for a week after standing in the hot sun to get this done. Or, more likely, I'm paying the price for the lack of practice!
