I think I see red under all this Seok, enlivening the greens - which are lovely, verging towards blue. A great success as a plein air painting too, it must have been very tranquil, painting in those surroundings.

Bukit Batok Nature Park in Singapore, a sanctuary for the severely endangered Straw-headed Bulbul. This is one of the few places in South-east Asia where this endangered bird species is thriving, without the threat of illegal poaching. The bird is prized for its magnificent singing voice. I could hear its stunningly beautiful birdsong very near me as I was painting this scene. Painted en plein air. Acrylic on paper.
