What a wonderful array of shades of green! All the wonderful leaf shapes, the trees and the grasses in the foreground make a super composition. To me, it doesn't matter how the painting was constructed as the end product is marvellous.

So many interesting plant shapes to look at Seok. Good painting!

Exotic plants, wonderful shapes and all those greens! A beautiful painting Seok and you have proved now that there is no need to use white to lighten the colours. Superb work!

Well done with all those greens that blend so naturally. Keep up the good work!

Gorgeous greens Seok and a really beautiful painting too!

Lovely work Seok it proves you can put lots of greens together and make it work . Ilike the sound of your teacher he seems to be giving you good advice which is obviously working. take care.

Thanks very much, everyone, for your very kind comments!

A master of greens, beautifully constructed and lovely use of tone.

Knew this was yours Seok at first glance. Beautiful greens and great negative painting.

Wonderfully mysterious feel to this. Again a fabulous piece.

Seok, this is beautiful! The yellow/greens and blue/greens sing together !

Thanks very much, Lesley, Carole, Gudrun and Sarah!

Seok. Yam, I just love your work...no further comment needed.

At the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Another acrylic plein air session with my teacher. As with our first session, I was not allowed to use white and was given 2 1/2 hours to finish the painting. This time I cheated. I came home, laid a layer of gesso over a bit of the background which I didn't like and re-worked it. I'm sure I'll be taken to task for overworking when I see my teacher this coming Saturday, but I'm still trying to get accustomed to leaving the non-essentials unfinished!
