Well you'vecertainly cracked the greens here, Seok, and I don't know why you think you have a problem with greens - this is lovely and so accomplished.

Seok, you are brilliant at fir tree's....you make them look strong nd magnificent.

What a beautiful view, super feeling of light with the strong shadow.

Magnififecnt Seok. I like the way the distant blues are echoed in the closer rocks. It unifies the painting as a whole. Lovely work, and very different to your watercolours. Is there no end to your talent??

A lovely painting Seok. Good composition and calm, earthy colours. Also beautifully painted fir trees, they are so difficult that I haven't even mastered a simple Xmas tree. Well done!

I agree 100% with the above comments, Seok. I also didn't know you painted in oil! Sorry if I do not post comments on all your latest works, but I have been away for 2 weeks (see my Blog "Surprise-party" or "Mia") and I missed about 60 pages of postings!

Thank you so very much, everyone for your very kind comments! Charles and Jane, I have to admit I am not as daunted by greens in oils as I am by greens in watercolor! There's always every opportunity to cover up the parts that don't work, and believe me, I've done that many times in this painting! Mia, no problem, I know you've been busy. I am also struggling to keep up with the postings due to my schedule. There's an awful lot of good stuff that's flying by.

Really adventurous colours - I wish I could be as bold in my watercolours - yet another great work...
