A wonderful painting, Seok. The shine on the leaves is so beautiful - I feel I could reach out and touch this plant it's so lifelike. I really admire your patience with subjects like this.

Lovely Seok, We have a fairly new plant in our garden but the blooms were burnt by the high 30's C heat we have had recently, such a shame as they are beautiful blossoms.

Two interesting and different approaches in these two flower paintings. This one more finished, the other, looser. Good to experiment and both work well.

A lovely painting Seok, I can almost smell the Gardenia, a touch of the exotic to brighten a dull February day in the UK!

hi beatiful work i love all the detail on your leaves and you really captured the delicateness of the flower so pretty xx

Love the shiny green leaves. I also like flowers that are just past their best Seok, so much more interesting with the lovely shades in them.

Seok this is simply another one of your wonderfull plein air studies, the detail in the painting and the tones are first class, like this one a lot

Super leaves Seok, love the way the flower is just fading!

Beautiful Seok, love the high shine on the glossy leaves.

Two lovely little paintings Seok, this one is my favourite though.

You've done it again Seok, lovely shades of green and the shine on the leaves are really good. Beautiful flower.

Love the warmth in those petals and the shine on the leaves, and you have achieved real depth. Super!

Beautiful gardenia Seok. nice glossy leaves and delicate flower

Two lovely little paintings Seok, very delicate looking petals and very well painted leaves. Well done!

You have been busy and what a beautiful garden you must have. The shine on these leaves is superb.

Thank you very much, everyone!

It looks 3D. The plant is beautiful and I particularly like the leaves :)

Painted en plein air on a 8" x 6" canvas board. The flower was about to fade when I painted it, and it had turned an interesting pale yellow color, which contrasted with the pristine white of a new bloom.
