It is so difficult to take decent phtographs of paintings, especially those with texture. I could tell this was one of your creations with a difference. I look forward to the one of her husband!

Met this lovely lady and her husband while walking through the streets of Galle in Sri Lanka. I wanted to take a photo of them as a couple, but apparently their beliefs did not allow them to pose together. However, they very kindly offered to pose for their individual portraits for me. They were just such a delightful couple. Mixed media work using various acrylic gels and pastes, collage (which unfortunately doesn't seem to show in the photo), gesso and acrylic paint.
