12x 16 ins acrylic on mdf. This is another rescued painting. It's been sitting on the rack for 2 years now. Original didn't quite match my vision. I've spent the last week or so rethinking an repainting the scene. Loads of acrylic gesso to the rescue! This is Wells Next the Sea a place I knew well from my time at Holkham. Obviously this is long before it became a major tourist attraction.
