Thunderbolt and Cumulus.
Acrylic on MDF Panel 20 " x 16" Started off as an exercise in cloud painting and since it turned out so well I had to put and aircraft in there. I wanted to contrast the etherial presence of the clouds with the solid mass of the fighter. There were few aircraft more solid looking than the American P47. Known affectionately as the "Jug"
