I always like paintings with doorways, what lies behind? you have caught the disturbed reflection very well.

Great work Michael, captured it well

One I missed - probably celebrating/mourning my 64th birthday at the time. Such a simple idea but it works very well.

My apologies to you all!! I have been very remiss in not responding to your kind comments. Thank you everyone. It is always encouraging to hear from like minded people. Robert, congratulations/commiserations - been there, forgot where I put the T shirt!!

The second in a short series of paintings I planned to do after visiting the city earlier this year. I was intrigued by the way the reflection was reforming after the wash of the boat had passed through. Colours here are Crimson and Cadmium red, ultramarine, Viridian, raw umber and Cadmium Yellow deep. Another small painting on canvas board 10" X 12"
