Superb the detailing is excellent a fine tribute to all those who went out and did not come back , like you Michael I’m very proud of our Airforce history.

16 x 24 ins on mdf. Aircrew of 489 Sqn mostly from New Zealand arriving on dispersal to board their Beaufighter aircraft for an anti shipping strike in the North Sea. This started of as a figure drawing exercise and morphed into an full blown painting. It's taken about 11 days to complete.
